Our Story
It Started With a Wedding
Red Oak Valley began when owners JohnPaul and Nancy Quick helped plan their son’s wedding.
That experience sparked a new passion: creating a place where people could gather somewhere beautiful, distinctive and thoughtfully designed from the ground up.
JohnPaul brought his background in construction, architecture and restoration. Nancy brought an eye for interiors, hospitality and the details that shape how a space feels.
Together, they began building Red Oak Valley one venue at a time — creating spaces with their own character while staying closely involved in how each one evolves.
Meet Our Venues
Three Distinctive Ways to Gather
Red Barn
A historic, outdoor-forward setting centered around an authentic 1904 barn, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere for weddings, celebrations and retreats.
White Barn
A larger, polished venue with a separate chapel, spacious reception setting and distinctive architectural details throughout.
The Ridge
Red Oak Valley’s most private and destination-focused setting, designed around outdoor ceremonies, larger gatherings and a fuller wedding-weekend experience.
Our Approach
Your Vision, Supported by an On-Site Team
At Red Oak Valley, you are not simply reserving a space and being left to figure out the rest.
Our team works alongside couples and event hosts to understand what they are planning, help identify the right setting and coordinate the details that bring the experience together.
For weddings, that includes a Red Oak Valley coordinator who knows the venue, the property and the flow of your day. Catering, bar service, setup, décor and lodging can also be coordinated through the same team.
The goal is simple: fewer moving pieces, clearer support and an experience that still feels entirely your own.
Built With Character
Details With a Story
Throughout Red Oak Valley, restored architectural pieces and historic details have been given new life.
From hand-hewn beams and antique furnishings to chandeliers, stained glass and a restored pre-Prohibition-era bar, many of the pieces throughout the property have histories of their own.
That attention to detail reflects JohnPaul and Nancy’s approach to Red Oak Valley: preserve what is worth keeping, build thoughtfully and create spaces that feel personal rather than generic.
